This is a 20 minute phone call or Zoom session. We use this time to discuss what health coaching is, explain our scope of practice and learn more about the current state of your health and concerns, and how coaching may be able to help.
What’s included:
Once you’ve decided to move ahead, we sign a coaching agreement and review your health history. All forms are completed before beginning our coaching sessions. Each session lasts 50 minutes. A minimum of 8 weeks, either in person or remote is recommended.

Coaching in a group requires a commitment of 6 or more individuals. This can be insightful and beneficial for companies, brands, non-profits, schools or other organizations looking to help improve outcomes for their team members, faculty, staff or students. Receive coaching together for a reduced rate and gain the support of your community. Group sessions are available upon request.
While physicians are there to give medical advice, fertility coaches are there for everything else. They look at the whole person — not just the diagnosis. We can help you understand how to implement protocols, offer support, and provide coaching and guidance on diet, stress management, and other lifestyle changes throughout the process of fertility diagnosis to treatment.

Diets have been proven to be ineffective long term where the yo-yo effect can be more harmful than helpful. Health coaching takes a deeper and more holistic approach that will enable you to achieve lasting lifestyle and behavior change.
We can help you create the meals and foods you like to eat and to take steps that get you closer to healthier alternatives and provide recipes and options. Meal plans and supplementation will need to be developed under supervision or guidance from a registered dietician, nutritionist or doctor.
Finding the right coach starts with what type of coaching you are looking for. Working with a board certified coach means working with a coach that has received the highest level of training. At the moment the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) are reputable organizations that credential coaches, with ICF focusing on general coaching and NBHWC specializing in health and wellness coaching, offering certifications and standards for the field.
Coaching helps clients access their inner wisdom to make the best choices for their own lives. Effective coaching is a process and the amount of time it takes one person to let go of an old belief or habit might be different for someone else. Often it takes around 8-12 weeks of consistent coaching, but this will vary depending on an individual's goals and personal situations.
